Hey shredders! At Skate Pro Shop, we want you to be stoked about every piece of gear you get from us. If something’s not right with your order, we’ve got your back with our simple returns and exchanges process. Read on to learn how to send stuff back or swap it for something better.

1. The Basics

  • Return Window: 15 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in original packaging with all tags attached
  • Original Proof: Include your packing slip or order number

Non-Returnable Items: For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Grip-Tape (once cut or applied)
  • Bushings (if removed from packaging)
  • Bearings (if removed from packaging)
  • Fullface Helmets (safety equipment)
  • Books, Mags & Zines (if opened)
  • Hats & Beanies (if tags removed)

2. How to Return or Exchange

Follow these steps to initiate your return or exchange:

Step 1: Contact Us

Email our rider-staffed customer service at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you want to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you want a refund or exchange

Return Request Template:

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number]

Body:
Hey Skate Pro Crew,

I’d like to request a [return/exchange] for my order #[Your Order Number].
Item name: [Product Name]
Reason: [Brief explanation – doesn’t fit, wrong item, etc.]
I’d prefer: [Refund to original payment method / Exchange for (specify product)]

Let me know next steps!
– [Your Name]

Step 2: Wait for Instructions

We’ll email you within 24 hours (usually faster!) with:

  • Return authorization number
  • Shipping instructions
  • Return address (our shop in Memphis)

Step 3: Pack & Ship

  • Repackage items securely in original packaging
  • Include the packing slip or order confirmation
  • Write the return authorization number on the outside
  • Ship to: Skate Pro Shop, 4721 Gladwell Street, Memphis, US 38141

Step 4: We Process Your Request

Once we receive your return:

  • Refunds: Processed within 3 business days
  • Exchanges: Shipped within 2 business days after approval

3. Refund Details

  • Timing: 3-5 business days after we process your return (depending on your bank)
  • Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Return Shipping: Customer’s responsibility unless we sent the wrong item

4. International Returns

Since we ship worldwide (except some remote areas), international returns work the same way, but:

  • Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs charges
  • We can’t refund any original customs/duties fees
  • Return shipping costs may be higher – consider using EMS

Pro Tip: For exchanges, we recommend ordering the new item separately and returning the original. This gets you your new gear faster while we process the return!

5. Damaged or Wrong Items?

If your gear arrives damaged or incorrect:

  1. Take photos of the issue
  2. Email us immediately at [email protected]
  3. We’ll send a replacement ASAP or provide a return label if needed

Note: Skate Pro Shop isn’t responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your receipt until the return is complete.
